Hosted by the Museum of Science and Industry and curated by Gizmodo, the home is a showcase for the hottest new technologies and the absolute best in sustainable building techniques. Given its clever use of energy, materials, and space, as well as its green roof, two beehives, and a bevy of other intelligent design components, it is no exaggeration to call the 2011 Smart Home the greenest house in Chicago.
