Gallery: The Pocket Shelter by Aaron Maret is a Portable Space on Wheel...

We love tiny shelters here at Inhabitat -- and all the better if they can be ported around to different locations. We recently spotted the Pocket Shelter by Aaron Maret and fell in love not only with its cool and compact design, but also with the fact that it's made primarily out of local, salvaged and recycled wood. This moveable modern residence on wheels will make for a great summer escape, wherever you picture yourself taking in the sun and the scenery this year.

PLEASE find a company to make tiny places for aging people- we need to live in a way that is helpful to age. The current building in the USa is not set up for aging. The company that can make affordable small quarters for the elders is to be admired as the real elders think the way of green. If you are lucky to live to be old- how will you live? no steps- or narrow doors-so many things hurt the way elders try to remain in homes. Can anyone come up with an affordable raMP- perhaps renting to help us grow old with a pinch or grace- try crutches in your abode- can you do it?

tHIS is remarkable- and your site is amazing- I long to find a way to house elders and make it a community green spot- we have a terrible recycle program local- this would feed our yard I try to keep natural for the small animals and city Deer!
