One of the things I like best about the tiny house community and companies like Tiny Texas Houses and Tumbleweed and others, is that the bottom line isn’t all about MONEY. Sure, they are in business to make money but they also realize that there are those of us who have no choice BUT to work within an unreasonably TINY (no pun intended) budget. There are people out there who really are willing to help make our dreams come true. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there to people because you never know, they might have JUST WHAT YOU NEED out in their garage. Kudos to Tiny Texas Houses AND Tumbleweed for the free plans you offer. Thank you to the tiny house community as a whole for being so open and sharing your experiences with those of us still in the planning stages. I LOVE TINY HOUSES! (Did I mention I’m 53 and single? :)

How would a person go about joining a crew on a Salvage Mining Expedition? I would enjoy learnig more about how that works and what to look for.

Bridgette – another small house company, sells small house plans at a reasonable price – decent for people who as you said may be ‘savy’ enough to build their own, or at least to get a better idea of the space.
