Gallery: Vietnam’s I Resort is a Beautiful Retreat Made Entirely from N...

Located on the outskirts of Nha Trang city in Vietnam, the gorgeous I Resort provide visitors with high-class mud bath services. The beautiful organic building was designed by A21 Studio using traditional Vietnamese architecture techniques and materials including wood, stone and coconut leaves. I Resort is a place filled with harmony and tranquility, which is reflected in its architecture, gardens and numerous lotus ponds.

The resort is located on a small hill near a river within a calm environment just outside Vietnam’s Nha Trang city. Its round thatched-roof courtyard is used as a quite space and climate regulator. It provides a great amount of shadow and natural ventilation, which is very important due to the hot and humid Vietnamese weather.

Instead of using glue or screws, A21 Studio collaborated with an experienced craftsman that built all wooden structures using mortise and tenon joints. These types of joints are strong, neat and very durable, giving the overall project a high-quality long-lasting structure. I Resort covers 3,200 square feet of space, offering visitors a place filled with harmony, health, and sustainable design.

Thank you so much for this beautiful article and pictures. It’s always fun to find out about new travel destinations, but to see what these creative and ecologically responsible entrepreneurs have done there is very inspiring.
