Last year <a href="http://www.turkeldesign.com/meetus.php?m=2&amp;p=2&amp;s=m" target="_blank">Turkel Design</a> and <a href="http://lindal.com/homes/gallery/dwell_homes.cfm" target="_blank">Lindal Cedar Homes</a> announced an exciting partnership to develop kit homes for the <a href="http://lindal.com/homes/gallery/dwell_homes.cfm" target="_blank">Dwell Homes Collection</a>, and this year they've unveiled seven new plans! Turkel Design has been dreaming up beautiful and modern homes for the Dwell Home Collection since 2005 and Lindal Cedar Homes, the maker of the series, is assembling quality materials for the kit homes and shipping them all over North America and around the world. <a href="http://turkeldesign.com/index.php" target="_blank">Turkel Design</a> came up with nine predesigned homes for the <a href="http://lindal.com/homes/gallery/dwell_homes.cfm" target="_blank">Dwell Homes Collection</a> in a partnership with <a href="http://lindal.com/homes/gallery/dwell_homes.cfm" target="_blank">Lindal Cedar Homes</a>, who puts together the kits to build the homes.

The TDS 1710 provides modern luxury at a small scale. Designed for a couple with an active lifestyle, the 1700 sq-ft vacation home or retirement home is perfect for the city or the country.

The TDS 1890 is perfect for a narrow urban infill lot - it packs in two stories with three bedrooms in a 24 foot-wide space.

The TDS 2010 bumps up the square footage a bit without increasing volume too much and is designed to be the perfect vacation home or for a growing family.

All of the Turkel homes are designed to bring in lots of natural daylight, and they are naturally ventilated and accented with warm wood and exposed beams.

The TDS 2270 is designed for the most traditional of neighborhoods and can be scaled to match the size of your neighbors homes. This three-bedroom house for a family also features a guest suite.

The TDS 2340 features a very modern butterfly roof perfect for rainwater collection with living spaces on the bottom floor and bedrooms on the top separated by a double-height living room.

The TD3 2490 is a three-bedroom, three-bath home with a slanted roof designed for rainwater collection. It also features an operable wall of glass that opens onto a shaded patio.

<a href="http://turkeldesign.com/index.php" target="_blank">Turkel</a> designed the homes in order to minimize square footage but maximize available space. Rooms in all of the Turkel Design/Lindal Homes sometimes serve double duty for those times when guests visit or you need to entertain.

All of the homes are designed to maximize energy efficiency, and each home buyer can choose their own eco finishings.

There are 32 homes in various stages of design for locations all over the world.

This house in Montreal is currently under construction.
