Completed 2011, The Bridge House is set amidst a breathtaking green environment. It was constructed on a manmade hill (made from reclaimed soil nearby) to house a cellar and to make the best of its countryside views. Built from stainless steel and dark stucco with a white marble floor, it boasts minimal interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the 37-acre parcel.
Its two floors host a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, a study, a studio, an exercise room and a wine cellar. Self-sufficient, it generates its energy through built-in solar panels, storing it in athermal energy reservoir. High-tech heat mirror glass helps with cooling the house and solar gain. Water for the home is drawn from a private well, and a septic tank is used for the sewage treatment.
