DIY: How to make an adorable Chia Pet dog costume for Halloween

This adorable, eco-friendly costume was one of the top finalists in our 2016 <a href="http://inhabitots.com/greenhalloweencontest/">Green Halloween Costume Contest</a>, and you can make it yourself from organic materials and eco-friendly felt by following a simple set of instructions courtesy of <a href="http://theflirtyguide.blogspot.com/2011/09/how-to-make-chia-pet-halloween-costume.html">The Flirty Blog</a>. <h3>MATERIALS:</h3> - Dog sweater - <a href="http://www.aquariumplants.com/">Plastic aquarium plants</a> (which will enable you to recycle this costume next year or give it to a friend) - Orange felt fabric - Muslin

A type of aquarium plant that can be used for this project.

You could also use freshly picked clovers from your own lawn!

<h3>STEP 1:</h3> First, use a glue gun or other adhesive to attach the aquarium plants (or fresh plants) to the dog sweater (bonus points if you find a used one!).
