Featuring a deep respect for the surrounding environment, House in the Forest was built using locally-sourced, sustainable materials and designed <a href="http://inhabitat.com/organic-japanese-shell-residence-wraps-around-a-centenarian-fir-tree/" target="_blank">around the forest</a>.1
