The trend of bigger being better has definitely reversed if this ultra-compact <a href="http://inhabitat.com/old-factory-transformed-into-a-modern-loft-by-zecc-architects/">loft conversion</a> in Bubeneč Prague is anything to go by. <a href="http://www.idhea.cz/en/studio/">Dalibor Hlavacek</a> was faced with the ultimate paradox when the owner of an old 1930s corner apartment asked him to transform a dismal attic space with limited floor space into an expansive home for a young family. But he overcame the challenge by using up every single centimeter of space super efficiently, resulting in a duplex that hides away a clever surprise - the apartment's oven!
