• House Hafner by Hornung and Jacobi
House Hafner in Germany has to be one of the most beautiful homes we have featured on Inhabitat, and yet it's hard to pin down exactly what makes it so. Is it the large openings? Perhaps it's the three meter variation between the home's two halves - one side is completely open to the surrounding forest and the other a little more "introverted," as designers Horning and Jacobi Architecture put it. Hit the jump to help us unravel the mystery of this contemporary cubic retreat.
