Inflatable Bathroom Bubble Pops Up on Any Rooftop for a Truly Serene Soak

We’ve seen <a href="http://inhabitat.com/basic-house-is-a-golden-self-inflating-home-that-fits-in-your-pocket/" target="_blank">modular bedrooms and lounges</a> pop-up on rooftops and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/electrolux-cube-modern-prefab-restaurant-pops-up-atop-brussels-landmark/">other surprising places</a> - but did you know that <a href="http://inhabitat.com/harm-rensinks-pop-up-inflatable-spa-gives-city-dwellers-health-of-body-and-peace-of-mind/">pop-up bathrooms</a> are the next big thing? “Bathroom Bubble” is a transparent inflatable igloo that comes complete with a lounge chair, a tub, and a sink. Designed by the Association of the German Sanitation Industry and <a href="http://www.messefrankfurt.com/frankfurt/en.html" target="_blank">Messe Frankfort</a>, the Bathroom Bubble can be inflated and used just about anywhere.

The Bathroom Bubble is part of a traveling exhibition called <a href="http://www.facebook.com/Popupmybathroom">Pop Up My Bathroom</a>, which explores the concept of the modern bathroom through the eyes of top designers.

Bathroom Bubble offers all the relaxation of a luxury bathroom - except for the toilet. The bubble was inspired by a survey in which participants were asked to list qualities of their dream bathroom. The consensus was that most survey takers wanted a room with a view that had access to a garden or a terrace.

Bathroom Bubble does just that by giving users a - 360 degree - view. The dream bathroom is cozy and warm on the inside like a cocoon, and it can pop up just about anywhere.

Users can set it up on a roof to recline in bubbles while watching the sunset, or pop it up along a stream or in a forest to get closer to nature while soaking in the tub.

If you want to experience the escape yourself, the pop up Bathroom Bubble will be on display at the <a href="http://ish.messefrankfurt.com/frankfurt/en/besucher/willkommen.html">ISH Fair</a> in Frankfurt from March 12-16, 2013.
