Formerly occupied by a factory, Marimondo 23 was transformed into a contemporary commercial center. Building regulations required the renovated project to maintain the geometry and height of the original factory. The design team decided to approach that limitation creatively and encase the central portion of the building in a concrete hull. Unlike its monolithic façade, the interior is dominated by glass surfaces, steel and wood, and its filled with an abundance of natural light.

The iconic façade is punctuated with glass cubes of varying sizes. The rhythmic nature of the vertical barcode-like divisions in the concrete gives the building an abstract appearance. The building will host design studios, showrooms and ateliers, and the attractive spaces will be wrapped in great architecture.
