It’s never too early to teach kids about the importance of green. Eco-conscious design firm Form Maker wants to make the learning process fun and easy with Gobble, a series of recyclable and lightweight cardboard furnishings ranging from chairs to toy boxes. Designed in the shape of animals like hippos and crocodiles, these adorable eco-friendly pieces boost ecological awareness and emit “nearly six times less carbon dioxide per kilogram compared to plastic.” Strong enough for an adult to stand on, the sturdy water-resistant pieces are built with an engineered fluted core held together by water-based adhesive with non-toxic ink.
