Design Like You Give a DamnThis weekend, the second annual <a href="http://architectureforhumanity.org/events/2011-10-21-design-like-you-give-a-damn-live-2011">Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE!</a> is happening in New York City. Presented by <a href="http://architectureforhumanity.org/">Architecture for Humanity</a>, the two-day conference is an effort to bring together leading designers, philanthropists, journalists, students and business representatives to discuss breakthroughs and challenges in humanitarian design. The 2011 conference will take place at the <a href="http://www.steelcase.eu/en/company/where-we-are/showrooms/pages/main.aspx" target="_blank">Steelcase Showroom</a> and <a href="http://cfa.aiany.org/index.php?section=center-for-architecture" target="_blank">Center for Architecture</a>, starting with a cocktail reception on Friday, October 21st. Saturday will be a full-day session of panel discussions and workshops, ranging from rapid fire Q&As to one on one sessions with design professionals.2
