- Urban Office Architecture Aviator's VillaAfter spending a lifetime in the air, it's no surprise that this retired pilot can’t settle for just any land-based dwelling. Urban Office Architecture reproduces the feel of living in the open sky with "Villa for an Aviator," a house built from salvaged airplane parts in New York state. To simulate the feeling of a plane in flight, the minimalist glass-covered abode is suspended on stilts between two bodies of water: a pool on one side and a small lake on the other.1
