- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseWe're no strangers to Germany's tree house makers extraordinaire <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/index.php?s=baumraum">Baumraum</a>, so when we saw another brilliant arboreal home design from them, we knew we had to share it with you! The house resides at <a href="http://www.weberhaus.de/index/world-of-living.html">World of Living </a>, a showspace/amusement park for sustainable housing company <a href="http://www.weberhaus.co.uk/">WeberHaus</a> and greets visitors with its curvy body perched atop super skinny spider-like "legs". The unusual shape and clean lines are signature Baumraum, and there are a lot of other cool features, so check them all out in our slide show.1
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseLocated in Rheinau Baden-Linx, Germany (right near the French border), World of Living is a rather unusual type of establishment.2
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseIt was conceived to show off <a href="http://www.weberhaus.co.uk/">WeberHaus</a>' homes, but in a fun, interactive way - and you know we can't be mad at that!3
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseThe <a href="http://inhabitat.com/?cat=43">tree house</a>'s main body rests on a structural system of seven oblique, conical shaped columns made of Siberian larch and greets visitors to the park with a taste of the innovation they're about to see.4
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseAs exciting as the <a href="http://inhabitat.com/?cat=43">tree house</a>'s exterior is, the inside is no less interesting.5
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseThe vaulted interior welcomes visitors with wallpaper depicting giant oak leaves as if the house itself were a tree. In fact, the walls are all made of native oak.6
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseTired guests can take a load off in rotating seats, and integrated roll cages and drawers can act as tables or storage.7

- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseThe tree house was built in the company's apprentice workshop in collaboration with external partners.9
- Baumraum World of Living TreehouseThe house was actually a gift to the founder of Weberhaus, Hans Weber, on his 70th Birthday!10
