Bungalove: Nomadic Pop-Up Prefab Lets You Go Back to the Wild in Style

If you enjoy camping in the wilderness but don’t like to leave the comforts of home behind, this pocket-size prefab space might be the perfect way to enjoy nature in style. Bungalove is a pop-up temporary living space that can be placed anywhere, packs up without a trace, and adapts to new and different environments. Designed by Italian <a title="Bungalove Is A Nomadic Pop-Up Hotel To Go Back to The Wild In Style" href="http://www.studio63.it/" target="_blank">Studio 63 Architecture + Design</a> in collaboration with <a title="Bungalove Is A Nomadic Pop-Up Hotel To Go Back to The Wild In Style" href="http://www.edcontract.com/" target="_blank">ED Contract</a>, this prefab housing unit rethinks the future of portable housing.

Unveiled at the <a title="Bungalove Is A Nomadic Pop-Up Hotel To Go Back to The Wild In Style" href="http://en.siarimini.com/" target="_blank">Sia Guest International Hospitality Exhibition</a>, Bungalove is a mobile living space that can evolve over time and is designed for disassembly.

The pop-up hotel consists of a platform and decorated walls that can serve as a single room or unfold into an entire small apartment. The fully customizable habitat is based on a flexible building system that can create everything from a simple village to a luxury resort.

Even though Bungalove is a temporary space designed for a temporary stay, it features good quality, long lasting Italian design through and through.

The flooring is composed of flexible modules that are extremely long-lasting and maintenance-free.

For the exterior flooring the architects chose to trade typical wooden planks for a blend of recomposed stone and concrete by Listotech.

The Bungalove was inspired by the fantastic living cells and <a title="Bungalove Is A Nomadic Pop-Up Hotel To Go Back to The Wild In Style" href="http://inhabitat.com/nau-architects-unveil-self-sustaining-living-roof-pod-home-concept/" target="_blank">pods</a> of the late 60s that sought to create compact and efficient living environments.
