The Kings Cross Filling Station by Carmody GroarkeArchitecture studio Carmody Groarke has transformed a disused gas station on a North London canal into a glowing temporary restaurant space. Dubbed the King's Cross Filling Station, the space will house not only the restaurant, but also a new cultural arts space set to open this month! Its curved walls sweep down to meet the beautiful Regent's Canal, and the facade of translucent fiberglass looks stunning set against the water's edge.1
