At a fraction of the $175,000 ticket price for the real deal, the $300 set is much nicer on the wallet and gives builders a unique look inside the LEGO designers’ interpretation of the Porsche’s ins and outs. The 2,704 pieces included in the set will guarantee hours of nerdy bliss as the model comes together at a 1:8-scale of the admired vehicle.

The designers stress the accuracy of the model, down to the finest details. The functional doors and rear lid with a view of the detailed flat 6 engine is just the beginning. Attention was even given to the uniquely red-hued shock absorbers featured in GT models. And, let’s not forget the hood that opens up to reveal luggage space and a Porsche driver’s bag. The designers have thought of everything, making the price worth it for diehard admirers who are otherwise left dreaming about being behind the wheel of their very own Porsche.
