Inhabitatfirst spotted Loll Designs at Haute Green in 2007, where their sleek 3-slat Adirondack chairs were hard to ignore. Since then this Duluth, MN-based design outfit has hit its stride, launching several new collections with leading national retailers. From their iconic adirondacks to their brand new low-profile outdoor living rooms and practical stackables, Loll Designs’ sustainably crafted furnishings make lounging around that much more irresistible.

The founders of Loll are all former skaters (and modern lollygaggers) who made their entrepreneurial debut as skate park builders. Eventually, from construction scraps they could not bear to throw away, they started building chairs. From this experimentation emerged an innovative design company that today makes a wide range of sustainable outdoor furnishings from recycled clear plastic milk cartons, or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). For table surfaces, they use Richlite. The result is stylish, sustainable, and fairly affordable modern outdoor furniture.
New this year are the elegant and low-profile Monterey Collection and the Emmett Adirondack, both available exclusively through Room & Board. For those who prefer the classics, the iconic 3-slat Adirondack that put Loll on the map is now available exclusively through DWR. Beyond the home, Loll’s stackable Al Frescocollection of tables, benches, stools, and stackable chairs are perfect for commercial use. The entire Loll collection is available through Denizen Design Gallery for commercial projects.
