Amazing Bat Cave Made From 20,000 LEGO Bricks is Lit Up with Energy-Saving LEDs

Comic and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/lego/">LEGO</a> lovers everywhere rejoice: Wayne Hussey and Carlyle Livingston have built a Bat Cave out of 20,000 <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/lego-bricks/">LEGO bricks</a>! Between them, the pair spent 800 hours building a replica of Bruce Wayne's <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nature-conservancy-builds-huge-artificial-cave-in-tennessee-to-protect-bats-from-disease/">sneaky subterranean abode</a>, which is illuminated with LED flash and Christmas lights. The duo recently unveiled their creation at a series of comic conventions throughout the United States.

Roughly 800 hours went into building this LEGO Bat Cave

The cave was made using at least 20,000 LEGO pieces

It comes completely furnished with all of Bruce Wayne's necessary tools

There are motorized platforms, a Bat Mobile, Bat Boat, a Bat Copter and a Bat Plane

Even Robin gets a Bat Bicycle!

The cave is illuminated with two different kinds of LED lights

The LED flash and Christmas lights are virtually the only non-LEGO pieces used in this project.

The Bat Cave weighs 100 pounds

The ceiling lifts up and the remaining cave is split into three pieces to facilitate easy construction
