Medley only uses wood from Forest Stewardship Council-certified forests, choosing alder hardwood for its furniture frames and walnut or maple for tables. On occasion, the furniture also incorporates solid bamboo, a sustainable, renewable and strong resource. Additionally, the company only uses solid wood, rather than plywood, to ensure long-lasting and durable pieces.

Wool stuffing for the furniture is also sustainably sourced and certified as cruelty-free, while the fabric linings use organic hemp or cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard. Wool is already hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating, antibacterial and biodegradable, but Medley goes the extra mile to ensure that its wool contains no harmful substances and is OEKO-TEX 100-certified. To finish, the company uses all-natural furniture polish made only of beeswax, carnauba wax and olive oil on all wood pieces.

Minimalism and comfort guide each design. Pieces like the Kaydan Sofa use organic natural latex frames, wool fiber pillows and kiln-dried, FSC-certified, domestic alder hardwood. Other pieces, like the Ason Sofa, incorporate CertiPUR approved eco-foams made without ozone depleters, toxic flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde or phthalates.
