The varying heights were decided on to allow easy assembly. The space between the pieces is the same as the height of pieces, so you can attach and build bridges between them easily. The limited edition includes a trio of 12×12, 8×8, and 6×6 pieces. The designers said only 10 sets will be made to begin with, each of which is laser numbered.
