Bronx resident Nneka Green-Ingram is taking advantage of New York’s booming truck storefront frenzy, but instead of selling food, she’s serving up style on a platter. Having transformed an old Cheetos delivery truck into a mobile clothing store called Celebrities Mobile Boutique, Green-Ingram is providing the Harlem community with fashion on wheels. So far, the response she’s received from local shoppers has been positive.

The boutique -- which sits on the highly trafficked 125th Street between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard Thursdays through Saturdays -- offers an array of trendy costume jewelry, accessories, apparel and a small section of mens items.

While not your typical entry into the fashion industry, Green-Ingram, a current MTA employee, vended costume jewelry on 125th street before realizing she could mobilize her business in a safer and warmer environment

Green-Ingram purchased the truck for $9,000 from a dealer in Philadelphia and enlisted the help of her husband and his friend who installed the boutique’s shelves and wooden floors.
