The outdoor gym, made up of equipment produced by GameTime, is part of Phase 3 of the esplanade, which aims to create active programming along the water. The various machines were already being used by several in-the-know denizens when Jill stopped by, but we have a feeling that things will get more crowded once people realize that they can get in their morning workouts gratis by the cool breeze of the river.
