This post about <a href="https://www.loosecubes.com/" target="_blank">Loosecubes</a>' pop-up co-working space has been one of our most popular this month, so we want to let everyone know that this Friday, the 28th, will be your last chance to go to <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/downtown-brooklyn-shipping-container-market-returns-with-a-special-spring-weekend-on-april-7-8/" target="_blank">Dekalb Market</a> and experience this uber-cool office for yourself. Loosecubes took up residence in a shipping container office at the Brooklyn market at the beginning of September and has been offering free working space to freelancers every Friday since then but this coming Friday will be the last day. So if you haven't yet, sign up to work from the cheerful cargotecture office today, and check it yourself before it's too late!

The best part of Loosecubes? It’s free! Members can sign up on their website, and request a seat for coworking.

I was greeted by the friendly <a href="http://inhabitat.com/nyc/nycs-coolest-office-looscubes-lets-you-co-work-under-the-manhattan-bridge-for-free/" target="_blank">Loosecubes team</a> outside their shipping container office, located just near the entrance of the Dekalb Market.

Rather than sitting in a quiet coffee shop, Loosecubes members can socialize and network with other freelancers, while getting work done. The culinary delights of the Dekalb Market are just a few steps away, including a vegan and free juice counter, and of course readily available coffee by Joe.

Freelancers from art, music, bloggers and small business owners were already hard at work inside at the communal tables. Members can work inside, or take advantage of the nice weather and work from two picnic tables shaded with umbrellas.

The Dekalb Market does have free Wi-Fi, but Loosecubes member enjoy their own private networks, making life easier for bloggers (like me) who need to upload content throughout the day. The picnic tables are reserved, so the lunch crowd won’t take over, and the networks are limited to five users, making the connection fast and seamless.
