Ron Ulicny Creates Extraordinary Sculptures From Found Objects

Part of what makes Ulicny’s work so unique is his fusion of reused, older materials with new, contemporary items, as seen in this skull and bullet combination. His pieces are fun and playful, mixing humor with design to form original contemporary sculptures such as high heels on old-school roller skates.

With such a wacky combination of bizarre objects, Ulicny seems like something of a collector, with his modern artworks formed from the esoteric. Just imagine what his storeroom must look like!
