Souda Bubble ChandelierSouda's <a href="http://soudasouda.com/lighting/bubble-chandelier/">Bubble Chandeliers</a> are delightful conversation starters, but there's a lot more to them than meets the eye. Each one is created from 60 post-consumer PET bottles collected by homeless individuals in NYC through a partnership with Brooklyn-based non-profit <a href="http://www.surewecan.org/">SURE WE CAN</a>. A portion of the proceeds from each fixture sold is then donated right back to SURE WE CAN's homeless-friendly can redemption center, which is the only one of its kind in New York City.1
Souda Bubble ChandelierThe <a href="http://soudasouda.com/lighting/bubble-chandelier/">Bubble Chandelier</a>'s design was originally inspired by the cell-like shape of soap bubbles.2
Souda Bubble ChandelierEach one is handmade in a process where the recycled bottles are cleaned, cut, and then riveted together.3
Souda Bubble ChandelierAll of the plastic bottles used to make Bubble Chandeliers are sourced from SURE WE CAN, a non-profit dedicated to helping the homeless help themselves by collecting bottles and cans.4
