
But the Haffenden House’s quirky personality doesn’t just extend to its interior. The ultra- slender build with a drive-thru parking space is sufficiently eye-catching, but it’s the home’s semi-transparent silicon facade and deformed windows that make the design even more striking. The inside has a few other cool design twists too. In addition to the gorgeous sunken bathtub in the library, the third floor is said to have a curved floor.

And if you guessed that a design like this would attract some attention, you’d be absolutely right. The Haffenden House recently received an Award of Merit by the American Institute of Architects.
