Located inside Harpswell woodland, this gorgeous geometrical studio is the perfect place to find peace. Since it was built just a few hundred feet from a tidal creek, the architect decided to place it on wooden stilts that provide protection from raising water while also causing minimal impact on the ground.
Harpswell Studio started with a basic cube, but the outcome includes angles, peeks and sharp corners. Small orthogonal windows bring in natural light and provide beautiful woodland views from every angle. A one of a kind retreat, the wooden cube in the woods offers inspiration and solitude and a tiny footprint.
