Hawk House by Alex WyndhamThe Hawk House is a tiny green-roofed cabin located high in the mountains of central California. Designer Alex Wyndham designed and built this seven-by-nine foot house completely of timber with three foldable walls and skin made from redwood bark. The small off-grid refuge is built into a hillside and provides a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.1

Hawk House by Alex WyndhamSitting lightly on the land, the structure is a discrete addition to the surrounding ecosystem that establishes an almost seamless transition between the natural and the manmade.7
