- HonshusThis breathtaking wooden hen house was designed by Torsten Ottesjö, who was inspired by the shape of a mother hen curling her wings protectively around her young. "Hönshus-1" is located on the west coast of Sweden, and was built on a steel foundation that was drilled into a sloping rock. Its residents are probably some of the luckiest chickens around, as the house is perched gracefully on a site that looks out over an inlet and is surrounded by a stunning landscape.1
