Tricycle House and Garden Offer Off-Grid Living for China’s Landless

Nobody owns land in China so all living situations are essentially temporary, but the country's landless might be able to get their hands on their own off grid tiny house and garden. Deisgned by the <a href="http://www.peoples-architecture.com">People's Architecture Office</a> (PAO) and the People's Industrial Design Office (PIDO) as part of the 2012 Get it Louder Exhibition, the Tricycle House is a fully functional and <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/portable-dwelling/">portable dwelling</a> accompanied by a garden on wheels.

The home is big enough for a couple

This particular kind of plastic is strong enough to be folded

The folds then expand - like an accordion

Remarkably, the home includes a sink, stove, bathtub and water tank!
