Working from home is becoming increasingly popular throughout the globe, and Argentina-based Nidolab Arquitectura shows us how to do it in style. Their tiny home office (which is just 54 square meters in size) combines work and pleasure in a tranquil environment built largely with natural materials.
The first thing to notice about the Home Office on display in Buenos Aires is the curious mossy carpet at the onset of the floating timber platform that accommodates a large conference table. In addition to giving the space a lovely green aesthetic, the carpet brings the outdoors inside, creating a stimulating but tranquil working environment.
Albeit small, the small space can facilitate all of the same functions as a conventional office. There is room for collaboration and meetings, as well as private space for dedicated individual work time. And to ensure that the compact office won’t require a lot of electricity during the day, skylights pump an abundance of natural light indoors.
