The relatively young but very talented firm Denieuwegeneratie designed this striking earth-covered home in The Netherlands that produces more energy than it consumes. Given its location on a historical agricultural plot, it was crucial to the owners that the Dutch Mountain House exist in harmony with its surrounding hilly landscape, so Denieuwegeneratie buried part of it in an artificial mountain! This slashes the project's environmental footprint while insulating the solar-powered home, which produces enough excess energy to power an electric car.

    I’d like to know the exact location of this house, it’s hard to find it on Google maps, besides last time Google made photos of Netherlands in 2010, when this house didn’t actually exist.
