NYC Underground: New MTA Photos Show Construction of Second Avenue Subway Line Well Underway

The highly anticipated Second Avenue subway train is making leaps and bounds, promising to be opened as planned in 2016. To show the progress they've made to date, the MTA has posted a slew of new photos revealing that the new station is really coming together. The hubs at 86th, 73rd and 63rd Streets are already each more than a third of the way complete, and they look like they’ll be poised to carry the anticipated 220,000 daily commuters starting December 2016!
