WE MAKE CARPETS Arrange Dull Household Items into Eye-Popping Carpets

    <a href="http://www.wemakecarpets.nl">WE MAKE CARPETS</a> will completely transform the way you see ordinary household objects such as dish sponges, plastic bottles, nuts and bolts and even pasta. Frustrated by our disposable society, the Dutch art collective comprised of Marcia Nolte, stijn van der Vleuten and Bob Wardenburg started <a href="http://inhabitat.com/traditional-weaving-is-reinvented-with-amazing-installations-by-we-make-carpets/">arranging seemingly mundane items</a> into eye-popping designs that burst with color and originality. They've been doing this for several years now, but a handful of new pieces are definitely worth a gander.
