Airy Forest Pavilion in Taiwan is Made from a Series of Parabolic Bamboo Arches

<a href="http://www.narchitects.com/">nArchitects</a> used a series of parabolic arches to erect the inspiring Da Nong Da Fu Forest Park in Taiwan, which is designed to generate awareness of the threatened Da Nong Da Fu Forest. Made from <a href="http://inhabitat.com/beautiful-bamboo-living-houses-take-two-days-to-build/">freshly-cut bamboo</a> and unveiled at a recent art festival organized by Taiwan's Forestry Bureau, the pavilion provides all kinds of light and shade, along with a little nighttime entertainment.

The pavilion consists of 11 tall vaults

Comprised of awe-inspiring parabolic arches

That permit plenty of light and shade

Made from freshly cut and endlessly renewable bamboo

And put together by members of the local Amis tribe, who are experts in bamboo construction techniques

The design takes part of its inspiration from the rings of a tree
