
Located 3,600 feet above sea level, the Moldegaard Cabin boasts fantastic views of a nearby lake and mountains. And it is was built to withstand rough weather conditions such as hurricane-force winds and big snow piles during the coldest months.L-shaped and built to hug the slope’s incline, its entrance and outdoor spaces are shielded from winds blowing in two directions.

Measuring 1700 square feet, the cabin was built with a combination of local stone and oiled Norwegian pine and its many windows frame the most astonishing views and let the sun shine in every corner. Thanks to its incline and luscious green roof, this beautiful cabin in the mountains appears to disappear in both winter and summer.
