• Battery Park Studio Loft Bed
If you live in a studio apartment, chances are you've Googled such popular search terms as "where to put bed in studio apartment" and "how to divide studio apartment so it feel less like a box." The team over at Jordan Parnass Digital Architecture faced a similar issue when planning out a sunny but spatially challenged 0-bedroom residence in Battery Park. Their solution? A cleverly designed piece of custom furniture that serves as a loft bed, storage space, bookshelf, room divider and ladder all-in-one.

• Battery Park Studio Lead
JPDA's Jordan Parnass, Anthony Moon and Sean Karns designed the millwork insertion specifically for the small space as a way to create separation between the living and sleeping areas without having to build an actual wall.

• Battery Park Studio Built In Shelf
The custom cube holds a queen mattress that can be accessed by shelves that double as steps. The various cutouts and ledges serve as a place to display knick knacks and hold books.

• Battery Park Studio Lead 2
Made of blonde wood that matches the floors of the apartment for a seamless look, the piece was prefabricated off-site by NR Wood Design and erected in the residence over the course of just one day.

• Battery Park Studio Desk
With the help of Workshop Design Build, JPDA also installed a storage unit with integrated desk along the wall of the studio.
5
• Battery Park Studio with Desk
In addition to providing much-needed cabinet space, the extra-long surface serves as a mini office area for the apartment without taking up unnecessary space.

• Battery Park Studio Cabinet
The raised countertop is a design feature but also makes room for fingers to grasp and pull open the cabinet doors.
