Konya City Stadium’s faceted astro-turf facade reflects the colors of the city’s football team

    Istanbul-based <a href="http://www.bahadirkul.com/en/" target="_blank">Bahadır Kul Architects</a> completed their multi-functional Konya City <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/green-stadium/" target="_blank">Stadium </a>in Konya Province, Turkey, which aims to become a sporting venue with a strong cultural identity. Built in accordance to UEFA and FIFA standards, the stadium can accommodate 42,000 people and features an exterior that reflects the colors of the city football team using artificial turf and composite panels.
