Cycle In Cinema-Magnificent RevolutionLondon sure has a thing for <a href="http://inhabitat.com/london%E2%80%99s-films-on-fridges-is-a-pop-up-cinema-literally-made-from-old-refrigerators/">pop-up movie theaters</a>, but this is by far one of their cooler ones. The <a href="http://www.magnificentrevolution.org/hire/magnificent-cycling-cinema/magnificent-cycle-cinema/" target="_blank">Cycle-In Cinema</a>, hosted by bike and art collective <a href="http://www.magnificentrevolution.org/" target="_blank">Magnificent Revolution</a>, relies solely on pedal power to generate enough energy to screen movies. The pop-up cinema's premise is simple: ride your bike to the cinema, plug it into a generator, hop on and start peddling. Movies are entirely human powered and the soundtrack is broadcast wirelessly to audience member's mobile phones or radios. These free events have been going on all summer, and although we sadly missed the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=227898037256678" target="_blank">showing of The Labyrinth last Saturday night</a>, new screenings are announced regularly - <a href="http://www.facebook.com/magnificentrevolution?sk=wall" target="_blank">so stay tuned</a>!1
