O+A's recycled containers city in AmsterdamTo celebrate the 20th anniversary of Amsterdam’s <a title="O+A Builds Theatrical Recycled Shipping Containers Space in Amsterdam’s Shipyard " href="http://www.overhetij.nl/nl/" target="_blank">Over het IJ</a> theatre festival, local architecture studio <a title="O+A Builds Theatrical Recycled Shipping Containers Space in Amsterdam’s Shipyard " href="http://www.oplusa.nl/" target="_blank">O+A</a> created a gigantic recycled <a href="http://inhabitat.com/architecture/m2e-power/">shipping container</a> stage made from locally sourced materials. Piled up within North <a title="O+A Builds Theatrical Recycled Shipping Containers Space in Amsterdam’s Shipyard " href="http://inhabitat.com/incredible-amsterdam-office-created-entirely-from-cardboard/" target="_blank">Amsterdam’s</a> huge NDSM shipyard, the containers have been retrofitted into a space for live artistic performances.1
