The Czech garden home looks much like a caterpillar crawling down the hill looking to access the lake. Its unique shape comes from matching two sturdy black cubes and a curved tensile roof. The organic canopy was made from tarpaulin—a large sheet of strong, flexible, waterproof material.

The shelter’s tiny interiors play a contrasting role: they are neat, uncluttered and modern. Warm details such as hardwood walls, floors and ceilings, in addition to carefully placed round windows, give the space a cozy feel.
