OostCampus by Carlos ArroyoIn search of central digs for its recently amalgamated municipalities, Oostkamp bought an old coke factory - complete with an 11,000 square meter industrial shed - in Belgium. Madrid-based Carlos Arroyo won an international competition to transform the place into a sustainable office complex that leaves the existing building almost entirely intact. Completed in June this year, the rehabilitated space now features an interior shell of "clouds" made with GRG that is only 7mm thick, along with a series of modular office clusters that serve different functions.1
