Dick Clark House by Phillip Jon BrownSuperstar host Dick Clark's rockin' home looks like something you might see on an episode of the Flintstones or in a hobbit town but it's actually right in California. Recently listed for $3.5 million over on real estate company Coldwell Banker's website, the one-bedroom house is situated on a 23-acre site adjacent to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, which was deeply opposed to development. But architect Phillip Jon Brown told CNN Money that by creating a site-sensitive building that looks like a rock formation, they were able to alleviate the park's concerns.1
