The restaurant group already has a number of restaurants in Jakarta and Bali, each known for its sophisticated menu and distinct design philosophy. For Three Buns, forgoing the typical trendy design features allowed the restaurant to use nature to its design advantage. Large overhanging trees and lush greenery add a tropical feel to the interior as well as the natural wood seating and tables. Complimenting the natural focus of the design is the large graffiti images on the walls, painted by local artist Bernard Suryaningrat.

As with most of the restaurants in the PTT Group, the newly-opened Three Buns Restaurant has a wide-open kitchen platform with an amphitheater-style dining room with tiered seating and high ceilings. Created by Ronald Akili and Jason Gunawan, thegreenhouse style of the restaurant allows for a relaxing al fresco atmosphere throughout.
