If you live in a small space and lack room to grow herbs and greens, you’ll be happy to hear about this clever crowdfunding project. The SekuraGarden is a minimalist structure that hangs an entire vertical garden right from your windows. After securing a clamp to your window trim, the grow beds hang from cables and are suctioned to the window in rows. This sleek system maximizes daylight, allowing you to grow everything from herbs and lettuce to beets, swiss chard, peppers and cucumbers. The creators have even developed a SekuraGarden curriculum for schools and libraries to teach gardening to children who may not otherwise be able to learn hands-on gardening skills. Check out SekuraGarden’s Kickstarter page to back the project.
