Knevel Architecture Unveils ‘World’s Most Sustainable Gas Station’ in the Netherlands

Some of our readers might question whether it's even possible to have a sustainable gas station, and we'd like to assure them that we're skeptical as well. But if there ever was going to be a sustainable station, this new one designed for Avia Marees by <a href="http://www.knevelarchitecten.nl">Knevel Architecture</a> comes pretty darn close. Located in an industrial area of Den Oever in the Netherlands, the 4,290 square meter project features a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/coodo-modular-units-are-a-smart-slick-prefab-home-system-in-slovenia/">prefabricated timber construction</a> that slashed its footprint, in addition to a host of other exciting green features.
