Could New York's tiny apartment craze be trickling over into its culinary scene too? It certainly seemed that way from the crowds that gathered at Astor Place for Zagat's pop-up Tiny Cafe last week. Part of a viral campaign highlighting the restaurant review powerhouse's "tiny, yet perfect" eatery evaluations, the temporary kitchen served up squee-worthy miniature versions of some of the city's tastiest foods that were prepared using pint-sized tools and even cooked on teeny stoves. Part of a campaign to celebrate the launch of their 2017 list of Top NYC Restaurants, Zagat's Tiny Cafe dished out micro-versions of some of the Big Apple's most popular foods.

Visitors were also treated to a tiny cooking showcase of chefs preparing the mini-dishes using appropriately lilliputian kitchen tools and pint-sized stoves.
